http://pro.bose.com/pdf/pro/tech_data/L1/td_l1_compact.pdf Bernie, not totally true..I can give you many names of Bose L1 owners (that love the Bose)..but will admit the mids problem....Every single person that has heard the Bose Compact with and without the "RAC" feature of the Edirol mixer....has heard the dramatic difference in the Bose sound...The RAC brings out the mids that are lost from the factory...once you hear the difference....you will not want to use the Bose without the RAC...if you have the choice..
As for each of us ..loving what we use..true..I still will not trade my ancient Roland Cubes for anything on the current market...Especially a Bose (I had to add a zing)...
