Hi Ann,

You can do this but you have to first use your KN7000 Style Convert Disk before you put in a disk designed for the KN1000. You do have this disk, don’t you? It should have come with your keyboard. These styles are going to be all over the place in Composer. Intros will be in Fill-ins, as well as the styles, etc. You will have to go through each Variation to find the style. You may find some of the Variations blank. They will be in the recording memories but you have to look for them. They will be in Recording Memory A, B and C. You can not play them in Panel Memories as is normally done with a disk load that is designed for the later keyboards. Also, if you are not familiar with working in Composer to make the necessary sound changes, you will find this a real challenge. I have done this several times but I am one that does a lot of work in Composer. It is very challenging. Also, it is a real pain bringing up another style on the disk. You have to reinsert the Style Convert Disk to bring up each style. In other words, you can not use the Style Convert Disk once and expect to bring up all the styles on a disk.
