Hi Ted,

There are many ways to skin a cat. ! Try this:-

Prior to sequencing, set up a panel memory with the voices you wish to use, plus the rhythm panel style you wish to use. - Set up another panel memory with the same voices (not essential), but with the rhythm panel style, with the 'intro' you wish to use.

When setting up to record, ensure you set up track 6 to record also. and that your rhythm panel is standing on the style of your intro -- Once you start recording (via the pressing of your left-hand chord), immediately press the panel memory button, where you've stored the rhythm style you wish to use for the main part of your recording. -- Proceed to record as you normally would, until reaching the point where you wish your 'ending' to come in. -Now press your 'ending' button on the rhythm panel (as you would normally do), and finish your recording.

When played back, you will now hear your selected intro, followed by your selected main rhythm, followed by 'THE ENDING YOU DON'T WANT'. -- But help is at hand. !

Go into 'step record'.
Select track 6.
Scroll to the point where you have your ending, and erase the ending you have there.
Now press the panel memory button where you stored the rhythm style of the ending you wish to use, followed by pressing the 'ending' button on the rhythm panel. ---You now have the intro and ending of your choice, neither of which were associated with your main rhythm.

Best of luck - This method works well for me. It might do for you also. Cheers,

Colin Leaney
