Korg's dual player is a great feature that have nice possibilities for those that see the potential and manage to use it as intended.
Yamaha G have 2 players (A+B) too, you can cross fade, but it's for playback of files such as audio and midi, and cannot be used as a double styleplayer as on Korg.

Both Korg and Yamaha have too much modern 'top hits and songspecific' styles compared to the number of generic or allround ones, so I welcome all they can do to fill that gap.
But at the other hand, I can see why they do it like that. It's all about marketing and sales while they attempt to reach new and younger usergroups.

Never the less, the new 20 STD styles collection from Y isn't bad at all. 😉😊
