If I were a pianist, gutiarist or in other ways a top skilled musician playing in a band, I would agree with you.
But if keep it in mind that those styles are intended to work on a "autocomparrangerkeyboard", I think this "pack" is among the upper ones Yamaha has created for the G2 and the genre the styles representing.

The playlist included mentions a couple of songs that fits each styles well, but it's also possible to edit and tweak a bit, and by that you can add more songs to the list.
It may not be the best in the world for all, but for me those styles is more 'old fashion', usable and down to earth than 70% of the rest there is at the G2.

Thinking about it. It's probably me that's got too old and grumpy to keep up with all the modern stuff constantly repeats at the radio and TV.
