The thing that still excites me the most, the latest arranger tool that makes me hope that EVERY arranger adopts it (like they all seem to have finally figured out that a chord sequencer is an essential arranger feature!) is Korg’s ‘Two styles at a time’ feature.
Nothing else comes even CLOSE to massively increasing the diversity of your style collection than picking two of them, and choosing which Parts get heard and which get muted. Finally, if there’s a Part in a style that is too specific to one song, mute it and let another styles Part play instead. Problem solved!
Yamaha need to take a REALLY hard look at this new feature. As the Kings of the ‘songstyle’ they’ve got a huge number of styles that really are only good for one song. Swapping out the most recognizable Parts with more generic ones would give them a huge boost to their pro styles selection.
