Well, if the whole thing is software based, it wouldn’t take much of an update to set a couple of buttons to a macro to have it record and play back a scene.
The feature being able to be used live, interactively to record and play loops is a core ability of every chord sequencer to grace an arranger since the beginning. Roland, Korg, Yamaha and I think Technics all had buttons to instantly record and play back the loop.
To be quite honest, a chord sequencer that you HAD to set up in advance and couldn’t use live would be a major hard pass for most people accustomed to the feature for the last 30 years.
I sincerely hope your design team can see this as a major loss of functionality and design a simple live CS to add with an update.
This point is well noted. We will have this in the KETRON Event. This will be demonstrated Live on Zoom next Monday, January 2nd, 2023 at 1pm EST. Follow here:-
