Thanks everyone, and I will keep you updated on how they work out. I can say that after just one day, I am amazed at just how well they work.

Chas, I can still hear her snore, but all the other things no longer exist for me. I live in the middle of 5.5 acres, tight against 2.500 acres of forest. No neighbors close enough to hear their dogs barking, my children are now old codgers, both over 50 and left home many years ago, and I can no longer drive, so those transmissions sounds are just memories. I still have a good sense of humor, though.
