I use two on stands run in stereo in my loft studio. Room is about 12 X 15. They are great as I don't need a mixer and they have enough power for my arranger and piano w/vocals. I would not try to do a gig with one unless it was just a monitor but two may work in a small situation , say 50 people. Adding the second one adds to the sound tremendously. I even have a small suitcase that fits both if I ever decide to take them out. Can't get more portable than that.
