I have had two of these up in my closet for several years. I used to put two of them on stands for small and medium size gigs, but went with the Bose Compact and Spacestation. I had been trying out several lightweight combinations, and brought down one of the CM-30 to team up with my SX-900. The sound blew me away with crisp distinct lows and highs, all with great separation. I did the same with my SD40 module with the same result. Better than the Bose in a 10x12 room.

Questions:
Since these are 30 watt monitors, I know the sound will trail off in a bigger room, but I wonder if anyone can comment, since I can't very well chance a maiden voyage at a gig.

To lighten the load and space, I wonder if one would suffice, as I have all kinds of headroom.
