Except for badging, some of these models look identical. It has been mentioned in other threads (AKX10 vs Yamaha SX900) that Medeli builds for others including Kurzweil. Do the Medeli versions have same sound engines, including Kurzweil pianos, in them? Or does it stop at sounds/styles? Examples..

($699) Kurzweil KP300X= Medeli AW830 ($379)-also w touch screen
as A1000 ($698)
Even for entry level boards, is the name (recognition) worth double the price? An old question I know..what about applied to new boards as AKX10 vs SX900?
