I believe , and according to what Funk & Wagnalls believes...

1. Fold : as in fold a paper, sheets
2. Fold as in Quit,
3. Fold as in Cooking : Fold while mixing
4. Fold: A group of people
5. Fold: A pen for animals
6. Fold: To embrace

It is possible that fold is used as a slang word for "to fail finacially", but I was not referring to the slang word, rather the proper English meaning.

I was referring to #2 in the Dictionary
You were referring to slang

That's it for this English lesson.

O.K.chaps a lot of programmes give the user the option of UK English or US English. There is only one English language & that is English born & bred in England before America was even discovered. Any other language that pretends to be English is just slang.
If anyone really fancies a lesson in English Grammar then do yourself a favour write out a cheque, purchase a copy of the English Oxford Dictionary, then celebrate and treat the family to a night out at the theatre.
