Boy I am glad I started from scratch setting up all over again with Genos. Yes it takes a bit more time to do your home work but well worth the effort. Of course I have all my previous Yamaha Psr, S, & Tyros, keyboard setups saved & all ready to go, and yes you can pretty much just plug them in and off you go to a point,.....yes all the styles loaded into Genos with no problem, ...but, it does not recognize old registrations from previous KBs The registration need to be converted for Genos with a third party program such as
Murry Best's registration manager program..

That said and to get back to the topic soon you will notice that many of the old styles even though they have the same titles are completely reworked and sound so much better,....
what does that mean?.....your old ones will be missing a lot of different parts within the styles if you just A/B them you will see the big differences in so many ways. So with that in mind don't be lazy replace your old styles of the same titles with the new ones,....
Yes you have to re-save all your OTS sounds within the New Style... but, the reward is well worth the effort.
