I appreciate your personal email help.
And with that help, I have finally sorted .mid from .kar
The problem was VanBasco midi karaoke player.
If you use VanBasco as the default file "type" associated with both .kar and .mid files, then Windows Explorer cannot separate "types" because they all say VanBascoPlayer as the "type".
...get what I'm saying?
Anyway, to fix this problem, I associated .mid files with Windows Media Player, and .kar files with VanBasco .
Now when I click on sort by "type" the .kar and the .mid are separated.

Now to get them to the SD Card to play on the 7000......
