The OAX 1 will be good for at least 10 years (OAS lasted for 16 years) and is constantly being updated with new features and sounds etc. so taking into account the number of boards you will have bought during that time (Losing money every time you change your board), you will have spent more than the cost of the OAX 1. (Wersi & Bohm Instruments have always been about long term investments, not a quick turnover)

If you’re looking for the Wersi sound in a light portable instrument, then the Pegasus Wing is what you need to be looking at. (OAX (Like OAS) is organ 1st and keyboard 2nd)

There is no right or wrong choice in whatever you buy, it’s purely what you prefer.

Its hard for non European organ players to understand what makes Wersi so great... OAX will imdeed last you atleast 10 years.. its incredible expansive and lightyears ahead of the rest with VST support as well as the user interface and the buildquallity..

Yet it is stil aimed at the organ player, and not as much at the arranger players... and this makes for people on this forum the high price hard to understand. But then, the best thing of Wersi is that they keep developing and adding features..

But not all new features are free of costs, many of the high end features in OAS where payed expansion packs.. so where people buy new instruments every 4 years, Wersi players buy more expansions... keeping overall life costs high for both musicians...

If Wersi really wants to compete with the Korg Pa4x, Ketron SD9 pro or Tyros 6, then they need to improve some of the major arranger features, out of the box style quallity and advancing the SFX effects to support midi phrases like true multipads do and not just audio samples...
