I have been contemplating about purchasing an Audya. I own A SD5 and I'm still very happy with it. But I know purchasing the audya will only be to satisfy my wants, because I don't believe that the audiences will really take notice. Maybe a couple but the majority does not know or care as long as music is coming out of the speakers.
I'm still uncertain about the stability of it and the horror hard drive crashes I read on synthzone. I still get the feeling that the board is still not complete and there will be further updates to fix it. I've been pretty loyal to Ketron, I did venture off to Tyros 2, korg PA80 and Roland G1000 but I always ended back to Ketron because of there sounds and styles.
I'm also very concerned about lack of customer service and CMC distributers. They don't have a service center to perform any repairs or upgrades. I live in new York, and it was nice to take a short drive up to Bell Du Vox, in Nyack to replace a key, or button, etc. I'm going to give Korg pa3x to close look, since there service center is in long island.
