The problem with DVD/CD's nowadays is, so many people you are talking to don't have a player for them! The cloud is taking over, and fewer and fewer people use optical disks any more. Or have anything with them to play them on.

But a decent video or audio clips on a website can be accessed by anyone, anywhere, with anything from a computer to a laptop, to a tablet and iPad to a smartphone.
