Diki, with all due respect and I realize I was the one who started the subject of trumpets etc. why don''t we stick to the module itself and try and form an opinion of it on the basis of the tremendous amount of time and effort invested in these demos by Dan. He is putting Ketron itself to shame and imho most other companies.
Short of auditioning it yourself in a shop or at home this is the nearest anyone will get to hearing a new module or keyboard. Therefor full kudos for Dan in doing so. As to the sounds itself it seems to me they are better and at least more versatile than on the SD2 ( I know Dennis might disagree) and retailing at approx. 400 euros it is a viable option for enlarging one's set up. You sure ain't gonna tip over due to its weight ! ( the guy who bought my Roland G70 last week, nearly changed his mind when he had to lift it into his car

)
Like others I agree that it is a shame Ketron does not market some good motl keyboards to compete with the other three manufacturers. The Audya may be terrific but so is its pricetag and (I believe) its weight. Incidentally, on the Italian forum a guy who owns both the Audya , had the SD2 and now tried the SD1000,maintains that the SD1000 sounds are better than the SD2 and at least as good as those on the Audya...

John
