I believe the Multipads can be edited to suit your needs.

Unfortunately, not much is said about this in the 'User' Manual, but it does refer you to the Yamaha website where you can download the Tyros 4 'REFERENCE' Manual. Pages 77-79 describe in greater depth how to change these pads using the MULTI PAD CREATOR.

Further to the above, I wondered whether you know the pads are different by design, in that some play continuously, some only once and others are completely different (even perhaps, a little off key) particularly the 'Sound Effect' pads. I guess it depends on the tune you want to use them with.
