Lee, I have used a pair of 802's with over 350 people..I use a mixer with the Podiums..I covered the room easily..It was a dinner crowd with a dance floor..No big thumping bass needed with the gig...but the 802's covered the bass needed with no problems..I am talking about a trio..

When I wanted to boost the bass for certain songs..it performed well..

I have the 1204's as the bands main system now...if you want to talk about a bottom..
