I think bumping up the model # by 10, from S900 to S910 is an acknowledgment that there isn't much new - just like when Yammy moved from the PSR2000 to the PSR2100. That upgrade had about a dozen new voices and a dozen new styles, and like the S910, the PSR2100 came with the same shell, layout, and OS as its predecessor.

Hi Beakybird, I have always stepped up to the next model and never regretted, It was like growing along with the keyboard. My knowledge and ability to perform with the Kn7000 was right up there.
I am doing the same thing with Yamaha, from the Psr2100 right up to the Tyros 3, I did not miss a model. I feel you are going in a good direction.
None of this applies when the dollars are limited.
