What's new?
1. It has almost as many voices as the T2.
2. It has the style format of the T3 which creates more realistic guitar voices.
3. It has an improved screen.
4. It has an MP3 player.
5. It has 17 more styles than the S900.
6. It has 1mb (not gb, mb) more USER memory.
Altogether, it doesn't sound like that much.
I did my best to keep my S900s in good condition. Hopefully, I will get a good price for them so that I won't have to pay too much for the upgrade.
I have a feeling that Yamaha is going to offer another upgrade in a year or two. I don't believe the denials that the impressive specs we heard several months ago about a "PSR-S950" were true.
I think bumping up the model # by 10, from S900 to S910 is an acknowledgement that there isn't much new - just like when Yammy moved from the PSR2000 to the PSR2100. That upgrade had about a dozen new voices and a dozen new styles, and like the S910, the PSR2100 came with the same shell, layout, and OS as its predecessor.
