The drums were improved on the PSR9000. That was always a weakness on the 9000pro. Other than that, and a few newer styles (no biggie)the 9000pro is built better, feels better, and will probably last longer. The down side is that most auto guys didn't like it, so the market value is very low. I'd grab that one for $800 in a heartbeat.
