In fact, how COULD you have the same Intro for minor and major chords? An NTT table would just mess up badly with a simple maj/min conversion. It's also why most arrangers have different variation patterns for major, minor, seventh and other chords. There's only so much a lookup table (NTT) can do...

The trick is in the programming. How much difference does the style creator make? Most of the arrangers ALLOW him to make different patterns. Whether he does so or not is more an indication of how good he is...
