hi Larry: I think song selection has EVERYTHNG to do with the wishes and desires of the client and the mood they want their wedding party to have. I always discuss with the bride & groom before the gig, both what type of music they want played, as well as take requests for specific songs. Depending on their personality and sense of humor, some of the above listed songs have actually gone over well on a few of my wedding party gigs, especially later in the evening after everyone's smashed. Our job as entertainer/musician is to gauge the audience to know what song material is appropriate for each unique given situation. - Scott
