Hey Clif, thanks for the Keyboard Magazine links and the advice.

About using the computer for sequencing:
When you use a computer for sequencing, the sound is obviously dependant on the type of soundcard.
1)But, what is sampling and does it differ from what you suggested?
2)And, from what you described, how hard is it to setup an MIDI controller and a soundcard?
3) What computer program do you recommend for computer sequencing?
Well, thanks for that advice...those keyboards are way too overpriced. Did you hear the new Korg Studio workstation is $3,000 and up! I know that it has a lot of features, but to even get the CDRW burner you have to pay an extra $400!
Also, Yamaha has a new 88 key synthesizer called the S08. If you're interested, you can read about the new synthesizer at Yamaha's NAMM 2002 website:
http://www.giles.com/yamaha1/pr/trade/NAMM/W02/pr/pac/dmi/s08.html Does anyone know if Yamaha will be introducing its Yamaha PSR10000? I am really curious about this and if you know, please feel free to leave us some information! Well, thanks for everything,
Ryan
