Thanks guys. My Crown 300 is a CM311A also and I have no complaints about it but I am always looking for new and better equipment and it seems that there is nothing much better than the Crown CM311A but I was hoping to learn about a better one with less bulk and therefore less visable to the public. I enjoy mine, singing through the keyboard with an inline impedance matching transformer as it is a low impedance mic..
By the way I found mine in a guitar store, used for $125.00 and it seems to work fine and shows no sign of physical damage.
