AFAIK, the main feature of the Producer
edition is surround sound. I have seen it
demonstrated, and it was very impressive to
hear an instrument moved around the room using a USB game joystick.
I prefer ASIO, and find it hard to believe that WDM drivers would have lower latency than ASIO.
But try both and let us know.
