Thanks for your reply's. Uncle Dave in fairness to Dan01 he is saying I think that you can still split the keyboard when playing back a midi file on the X1 as I can with the EM.
I don't want to be responsible for any arguing on this Forum HA!!!!

PS. The Korg Voicing is not that bad, but I do like the XG Voices on the PSR9000.
