The Solton X1 allows you to have programs (layered patches) with upto 4 split points.
Midi sequnce play back has always been a key selling point with KEtron products. Since the X1 has more note polyphony than the MS series, the 4 split's can be utilized more .
I have stated that the new SD1 set's the split instantly with any sequence. Press the manaul bass button and the bass voice that is set with the midi sequence is set to the left hand . A very handy tool for players wanting to play left hand bass lines . Easy ! Just my 2 cents worth . DanO
