I just obtained a Sony ECM-MS957 mic for recording live music/concerts into my Sony portable minidisc recorder.

It does a great job of recording except for one thing... the recordings come out somewhat "digital" (metal) sounding. I can transfer to my computer and render mp3, but does anyone have a suggestion for a software or plug-in that would warm up the sound? Thanks for any help.
