Hare are just a few new Synthzone Forum features I've discovered and think worth checking out. If you find any others, please add them to this thread.

The only feature I can't find is the ability to create a 'poll'. The forum's FAQ section says: "If polls are enabled, start by creating a new post in a forum. Below the body of your post, you will see a text box that allows you to specify how many polls you want to have in your post and the system will guide you through the rest. The ability to create a Poll seems like a useful feature, so hope Nigel might consider enabling it at some point

A personal setting favorite for me:
My Stuff>
Edit Preferences>
The total topics to show per page AND Total posts to show
on one page has a default setting of 10 per. I've changed
both to 30. For me this eliminates having to 'turn pages'
on longer threads.

And if you miss the old Synthzone default color, you can
Scroll to bottom and choose ubbthreads-sz
These setting makes me feel back home

I'm one of those rare people that really hated the old SZ color scheme as it made my eyeballs see artifacts after reading for a while. So I'm very grateful for the new color schemes.

Since you are bumping... I will say that the "campfire" thingy's goin' on at the main page... I don't care for them. They detract from figuring out where you really want to go. Over a period of time, that will get REALLY old. Love the forum, otherwise!

The "User List" is a neat feature that will display every registered member, with the total number of posts for each member, and their location.

Click on the total posts number and a new window or tab will display every message that member posted since the beginning of the SynthZone.

And the campy fire thing that Bill mentioned was fixed by pushing the number of views that triggers that to 2000. Scott also contacted me about this and I agreed and changed it. If a thread gets more than 2000 views it deserves it but 150 views was just far too low.

Also when you post ( apart from quick reply ) you also have icons that let you embed links and youtube clips etc. If your browser has scripted windows disabled you just may have to click on "Temporarily Allow Scripted Windows" and then do it again for it to work.

Also there is the Poll feature as well as File Attachment feature as well. Isn't life grand.
