Is or has Dom been affected too? Any damage to the Lionstracs facility?

I heard this morning about the quake. 6.3 is a pretty good size one. Although, Italy's National Institute of Geophysics put it at 5.8. I can see a 6.3 doing this kind of damage but a 5.8?? I think the U.S. Geological Survey measurement of 6.3 was the better indicator in my opinion. Having lived in So. California my whole life I am very familiar with earthquakes, having lived through several during my lifetime. A 5.8, in my opinion, would not do this kind of damage, unless the buildings in that area were not very effective in being quake resistant. Regardless, it is a sad day for Italy and especially for those in and around L'Aquila. I hope all of our Italian SZ members are okay and none of their businesses or homes were affected including Domeniek's and/or Ketron or any others.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the earthquake, and our condolences go to those families that lost loved ones in this disaster...

I don't know what vita brevis means, but I'll bet I agree. Well said Diki.
