Many of the Tyros' styles have tempo changes in the intros or endings (eg: World>Casatschok). How can I do this?

I didn't see a way possible onboard the Tyros, is it possible through an outboard computer sequencer? And if so how? I know there's a section in the Tyros handbook which deals with making styles on a computer, but it was not well explained. (I use Cubase).

Thanks,
Chony

Haven't tried it in the Tyros, but the PSR8000 used to have an option for tempo change (ritard) in the ending, and you could use it when making your own styles. I think it only worked for endings though. It's been several years since I tried it.

Don that works on the Tyros as well - but its not what I'm asking. All that will do is slow down the ending - and you have no control over the ramp or speed. But what if I want to make the tempo increase in speed (like casatschok)?

You can make Style adjustments in (digital recording style) on the Tyros and save style in USER.

You should be able to do this through a computer sequencer.

Export style to midi and casm. Open the midi in the sequencing program.

Select the measures, go to tempo view, and then choose the different tempo.

The keyboard should be able to read the tempo change.
