To all the pro players who sing

It just occurred to me that I always knew that the vocals were the most important part of a performance yet I've ignored "Updating" mine. I've been told I have a pretty good voice and have sung most of my songs for years. Instrumentals just don't go over that strong, so instead of obsessing over the best sax sound or whatever I've decided to add something to what people really listen too. Listening to pro recording shows that almost all the vocals are at least doubled and harmonized in some way so why not live?
I'm interested in the Boss VE-20 although I know very little about it. It doesn't seem to have a midi input to create harmonies but it does create them.
I don't want a cumbersome rack unit so this seems to be my best choice. And the price is nice.
Anyone using one or something similar? laugh

I've used TC Helicon Harmony M for a couple of years and it works great. Inexpensive and easy to set up and use.
There is a Harmony G version for guitar players too.

He guys

Thanks for the input. I've seen that model in a mag but never investigated it. I think the $299 one would be fine for what I need. Small and simple. Got some VD gigs coming up and I wish I had it now.
