Hi,
BIAB users, have a look at some of the new functions available in vers 2007.

Real Drums (must be some sort of an Audio loop) reading the blurb, it sounds like it could be pretty amazing.

Apparently it can now pick out chords from an MP3 etc etc

Makes for a pretty interesting read.

Just waiting to hear back on upgrade pricing for 2006 mega pak users, apparently there may be some sort of a deal that's not listed with the regular upgrades.

So for anyone who's interested, I'll let you know how I go.

best wishes
Rikki

Sounds good, just the mp3 chord feature may be worth the upgrade.

I'd like to hear the demos from the new styles posted at the BIAB web site. They must not be available as yet.

rikkisbears. Thanks for the heads-up on BIAB 2007. I use 2006 regularly and like the solo around melody feature.

I just upgraded from 2005 and is certainly worth the $59 for the real audio drumsets alone.

There are many other features like batch conversion to WMA,MP3, etc, as well as producing chord analysis of audio.

I just started listening to the tutorial video, and one thing is certain. BIAB has entered the big league, in my opinion.

Thanks Rikki.

Hi Guys,
I haven't had a chance to run mine yet. I'm still downloading files. ( Close to 24hours so far).
My adsl broadband is so slow and if a link crashes for whatever reason I have to start over for that particular set.

I've actually upgraded my megapak version and there's over 1 gigabyte real drum loops made up into various sets.
Can't wait to try them.

Fortunately I'm nearly getting there, decided to download the video's as well as I want to try & get the most out of it..

Happy to hear your're quite impressed Bernie.

I'll catch up when I'm fully back on line & finally tried it.

Hi Rikki
Get yourself a download manager, (There are plenty of free ones) which will allow you to resume broken downloads and sort out the best speed.
Test your broadband using one of the many free sites in your country to make sure that your broadband is working correctly.
Hope this helps

Bill

From the BIAB Forum:

Matt Finlay made a demo, this is one of his existing BB songs, that he just played using RealDrums. It uses some shots (for the ending for example, Matt uses a shot instead of the typical ending). Anyway, you can hear the RealDrums here, and we are making a page with a number of demos, should be ready by tomorrow.

I may never use midi drums again. The only quirk I found was that #66 Country w/RealDrums,that I ordered separately, did not index properly when selecting Styles with Real Drums only. Eight out of 21 styles could not be found. The work around is to go to "All" and choose them from there. Yes, I rebuilt the style list.
