Out of curiosity ... Is it Pirates of the Carribean, Poseidon, Superman Returns or Da Vinci Code

I am looking forward to "The DaVinci Code" because I enjoyed the book, and I will be in Italy for the next 2 1/2 weeks ..
One thing that bothered me a little bit is the fact that the book is sold as fiction, but Ron Howard would NOT put a disclaimer to that affect on the credits, which was asked for by the Christian Community ... I find it interesting - even a movie about a wolf got a disclaimer because a wolf was depicted as having eaten a human, for which there is no known evidence - but to state that a movie which is based on a novel, is fiction, could (would) not be done ... (Can anyone spell 'Hollywood agenda' ???) ...
Personally, the book had me asking "what if ...", but I still am treating it and the movie as fiction ...

Well Da Vinci Code is certainly something that is creating alot of debate. I will be seeing it this weekend probably. My thought on the film is that its only a movie and NOT a documentry. DNJ u a Rocky fan? Stallone has just finished filming Rocky Balboa which releases at Christmas. Ive seen the teaser trailer and it seems to have the same magic that the first 2 had but which were lacking in the other sequels. Heres a line by stallone from the film :"what is it u said to the kid? The world aint all sunshine and rainbows..its a very rough mean place..and no matter how tough u think u are itll always bring u to your knees and keep u there...permanently....if u let it. You or nobody..aint never gonna hit as hard as life. But it aint about how hard u hit..its about how hard u can get hit and keep moving foward...how much u can take..and keep moving foward. If u know what u worth..go out and get what u worth..but u got to be willing to take the hit"

For anyone interested Poseidon is the remake of the biggest disaster movie of the 70s (stand aside towering inferno) The poseidon adventure starring Gene Hackman who delivered an oscar worthy performance. The new one stars Kurt Russell. Im most looking foward to Superman Returns. no superman fans here? Brandon Routh will do a good job im sure...but a Christopher Reeve he is not. Its a weird coincidence that Superman Returns and Poseidon are both 70's movies that starred Gene Hackman

We have a second run movie theater in our town. I'll just wait until December and then I can watch any of them for $2.50. In the meantime while I wait it's practice practice practice.

Just saw the Da Vinci Code and it was a BIG disappointment compared with the book. The best thing you can do is forget the book and look at the film like you knew nothing about it, but even so I was not left with the desire to see it again.
