Hi guys and girls!
I´m a new member and I hope someone can help me out. I´m looking for a software for PC where you can edit and make drumsets (maps) for the psr-9000pro.
It takes to much time everytime I have to map a sound containing samples or to map a hole drumset manually on the 9000pro.

Is there a PC software that can do these tasks or can someone who´s good in programming make such a program. I´m willing to contribute.

Thanks!

A way around this would be to use any PC Sequencer to make your drum map track. Save As Midi File. Load this into one of the 9000Pro PADS. To do this you need to make a folder Name.usr and copy your drum midi file into this folder. The 9000 will now recognise and load the file. Once loaded you can go to PAD Edit and set the pad to loop.....hope this is of help to you.

Hej Graham!

Is it possible to create own drumkits this way? I mean like I want to put my own samples into a map and save it like a for example drumkit.usr containing a number of samples.

I just thought of something. Let's say that you are able to map out a drum set using the 9000 Pro's sampler. Does the style recorder allow you to select wav. samples as drum kits for recording user styles, and if not will it allow you to at least revoice a preset style using that user wav. kit? Hope that made sense. Because if the 9000 Pro doesn't allow you to use user wav files when recording styles this may complicate things a bit. If you could record a user style using one of the preset drum kits and then revoicing that style to use the wav kit then that's good.

I didn´t think you understod me guys.
I want to create a new drumkit with my own samples, ad do this with help with my computer because sitting and working with the psr9000 is very time consuming. There should be a utility(software) to edit sounds, samples and layers with the oppurtunity of mapping them as well.
