Hello Group,
Any suggestions regarding a good keyboard controller with aftertouch? I've been trying to procure a Roland A-37 as Donnie suggests, but they're difficult to find and it looks like everybody's trying to get one so that the available A-37's are selling for more than they did new. I'd like a 76 key controller but as an accordion player, a 61 key piece is okay too. Thanks.
Ciao,
Jerry

I'm on it Don. This is about the fourth or fifth that I bid on only to get sniped at the end. One went for $417.00 (+shipping) - used. I saw a couple of older ads showing a $355 sale price - new. Supply and Demand...must be a good piece.
Ciao,
Jerry

There's a plethera of newer controllers out there. While the A-37 is a good board, for that kind of money there's newer technology boards with more features. Of course, it depends on what features you want/need.

The Feb issue of Electronic Musician has a review comparing controllers under $500.

Yes that is true as even Behringer is making controller keyboards.
But are there newer 76 key keyboard controllers? Other than the CME there doesn't seem to be any.

Unless I am missing something. Maybe I am not looking in the right place.
