does anyone know of a keyboard stand that is adjustable (height) with a keyboard on it? because of physical issues i need to be able to alternate between standing and sitting , with out having to remove the keyboard from the stand completely...ive done a bit of a google on it but not much seems to come up..
thanks

The only thing I've ever seen is www.solidstand.com but that would probably be a transportation nightmare for most of us. Although they now produce a motor-driven X-stand that might be interesting.

I use a 31" hi stool so I can sit or stand without adjusting the keyboard.

How much does it weigh? If physical issues force this on you, how worse are they going to get if you have to schlep around a very heavy motorized stand?

looks like its about 22kgs, about the same as a g70/pa1xpro/s90es...its not the lifting of the keyboard thats a problem, its a problem with either sitting or standing for prolonged periods in essentially the same position...its to do with a couple of lower discs....but im thinking its gonna be way too expensive so i might have to try and invent something????!!!!! [yeah rite ]
cheers

Did you check out their new X-stand? It's about half price (still too expensive for me)and half the weight.

Pnuematics or hydraulics seem to be the way to go. Let us know if you invent anything.
