Here's something that is impressing me. I do not see a ton of "how do I posts" about the Tyros as one would expect with a new board. It suggests to me that the Tyros has an easy enough interface that we are not getting lost and frustrated in it.

I'm also not seeing a ton of moaning about different things

trtjazz. Here is a problem BUG that my friend has found on his Tyros.
Copy internal Style out to floppy.
Select Fingered mode on Tyros.
Select another internal style (any other than the one you saved to floppy)
Now Load previously saved style from floppy.
Start playing...then press a ONE TOUCH SETTING.
The Fingered mode has reverted to A1 keyboard.

Yamaha have agreed that this fault exists and it is being looked into.

Graham.
Hopefully, they'll have a fix in the next o/s upgrade.....can't imagine how often someone would do the procedure you described though.

If this happens every time you want to play a style direct from floppy it would be serious.
