I have a Roland MC-80ex,

( which sequencer is a full blown version of what comes in the VA-7, and G1000 )

when I scroll to a song it will display in the top right the file name.., example

HaveI.mid

in the main screen portion it will display the song name..., example

" Have I told You Lately "

My question is I have an old MAC running Performer 5.5 which allows me to change the song name, but I use my PC laptop more, and I have Power Tracks 8, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the song name with that program.

Can it be done? Or is there something else out there that will work with a pc that can do this?

Thanks in advance

How about putting the midi file into your SD1 and changing the song title, than save it back onto the floppy with the new name ?

Will that work ? Dano/computer geek

Open the file in PTand select the Notation screen. Select Print on the file menu and you will get the Notation screen print dialog box. It will display the song title in one of the entries. You can change it there.

See this is why I love this forum, I asked the same question to powertracks last night and they finally send me a try, which is exactly what you guys (pilot) sent in half the time.

Long live forums!!!
