Been playing around with this new tune... It seems the more I play the harder it is to produce new stuff... Anyway, If you have the time feedback is always a good thing, unless your Martha Stewart..

The basic structure here is good and in keeping with your style.

The suggestion I would make is to revisit the mix. Too much high end with little mids and lows. Manifests itself as a thin scratchy sound overall.

As far as getting stale and harder. I think what happens is we all reach different plateaus where it gets stale. I have found the best way to work through that is learn something new. That opens up another road to explore and adds new dimensions and avenues to explore.

The mix editing, can be done later in the final mixdown. Maybe a 1/2 key lower so you dont sound like your screaming your vocals thruout the tune. Lyrics are wonderfull.
keep creating... some songs could take years to produce...

thanx

Thanks Terry...
Donny thanks for the listen. As always, I like to do lyrics most of all... This one is tough. As what I hear in my head has a hard time when putting it to a recording.
I play around with it a bit more then move on to a new song... I hope by june I'll have 12 to 13 songs and will be able to cut some out for the new cd... Hope this one will somehow make it...
Thanks again...
Oh, the reason I post every new song here.
So I can get you're feeback before it's done.

I'm unable to open the file. Anyone else experiencing this? I'd really like to hear it.

Sorry Leon,
The links working… Got to say it’s not my best one…
Again, thanks Terry and Donny… While reevaluating the tune I spent a lot of time on the music’s ending… I’m now using that to create a new tune. At first I just wanted something that went in a different direction at the end but something hit me when re-listening to it and I may have a new one using that..
Thanks again guys,
DJ
