Team

Here is a copy of an email I just forwarded to Jim which I believe will be of interest to others.

Jim,

Let me try to answer some of your questions (and thanks for the patience).

The workshop will not only cover the SD1Plus but other products currently being produced (GP10-series, XD-series and X-series). For now, I would say 70% of the workshop will be informative as to what features are available on these units and how they can benefit either the gigging musicians or those using the instrument in the studio for recording. I will also expand on topics such as SEQUENCER, MIDI, etc ... (which as of date are the areas where I get the most questions ... unless more information gets to me on other topics).

Depending on the turn out, hands-on experience might be limited so we have broken down the 8am-8pm window into blocks so everyone has an idea of when to show up for what and also so as not to go over the 30 people we are allowed for the room (unless we have to- in which case I believe standing will be permitted). The time slots we currently have are as follows:

9am - 12pm: Customers/Public

1pm - 4pm: Dealers Only

5pm - 8pm: Everyone (Dealers, Customers ...)

You will NOT need to bring your own keyboard (esp. you coming all the way from the West coast) because I will be able to take questions (the other 30% of the workshop hours) and give detailed answers to particular questions. If the need be, I'll even have he/she who might need more instructions come up to the keyboard I will be using so as to better illustrate. I will have one of each of the keyboards from one of our sales reps in the Miami area. There 'might' be more than one of each for futher illustrations/sales but we are still working on this piece of detail. In as much as this will be formal (scheduled etc), I would like everyone who comes to feel at ease with the entire workshop so we are open to suggestions as to what else to add to make this even more interesting and benefiting for you our customers and future customers.

As for my phone number, the best way to reach me would be via Bell Douvox (1-800-734-5418) for they will forward your call to me or via email (ketron@ketron.it OR Ketron_tech@yahoo.com) - either way, these messages will get to me fastest (sorry for any delays you might have experienced in the past but I have been rather tied up with projects).

Jim, I would like to personally thank you for the reservation and I am looking forward to meeting you. As for the other club members, please give us an idea of those that will be attending the workshop so we plan accordingly. Factors such as rooms, refreshments that will be available have to be taken into consideration. The entire workshop is FREE (from Ketron) for all of you. We wish to give you the users a better understanding of our products and also get to know what more you expect from us and what you would like to see in future products so this is an opertunity you won't want to miss (I don't think I can stress this any further). As Jim rightly mentioned in a previous email, you asked for such workshops/clinics so please participate and help us help you. Other workshops are currently being scheduled and will be anounced as soon as dates and more details are available. Again Jim, thanks for leading the way!

Thanks,

AJ

And tagging on previous information, you should now have some more details.

We have scheduled a workshop for Ketron products in Miami FL. This workshop will indeed cover a lot of grounds. Non Ketron users will benefit in that they will be able to see what some of our products (SD1Plus, X-series, XD-series) do which may not be offered on other equivalent products by other manufacturers, while our ketron customers will be able to learn more about certain features on their keyboard, when/how to use these etc. We will also be taking back suggestions/ideas on what you would like to see in our future products and this is a very important point. We believe (as always) in designing and developing what you the customers request!

Ofcourse we will be able to answer some questions at the end (from anyone) and remember - all are invited so do not miss this great oppertunity!! Please go ahead and make your reservation NOW so we can plan accordingly ... and remember this workshop is free!!

Location: Court Yard (by Mariott. 5001 North Federal Highway, Fort Lardale, FL (954-771-8100) ).

Time: Nov 11th, 2003 from 8am-8pm (actual workshop block hours are:

* 9-12 Customers/End users
* 1-4 Dealers ONLY
* 5-8 Everyone (Customers, Dealers ...).

Thanks,

AJ
