Hi All!
I had recorded a music album professionally in a studio. The tracks were recorded using a Roland studio console and the master tracks were normalized with sound forge and burnt onto CD. Is it possible to sepaprate the trax at this stage now since I thought of making just an instrumental track CD without my vocals.
Thanx
Sunny

You might do it using one of those "create Karaoke Backing Track" programs which work by trying to cancel out the existing vocals because a lot of the time the vocal is the only thing common to both stereo tracks.

I can't say I'm optimistic about the success of this technique!

Sunny,
Does the studio have your original master? Maybe you can just remix a copy without the voice?
