I've been doing charity rides and poker runs for good causes for over 40 years. the folks I know from motorcycle clubs and events are some of the most compassionate and connected people I know. Some are big rough looking "teddy bears" who would do anything in the world for you.

In spite of the bad press that a relatively few get for acting out, most are people I'm proud to know and ride with.

Good post!

It's pretty obvious that bikers are part of a world-wide brotherhood.

That's GREAT!

Mike, at my age now, the one I ride the most is a Suzuki Boulevard 40...650cc's (used to be called a Savage), single cylinder; about 350 lbs. Great on winding roads-not so great on long interstate rides. I have a 1956 Harley three wheeler-knuckle buster (bought it Air Force surplus for $65.00 in 1963-rode it back from California-upright bass strapped on the back; then put $25,000 restoring it over the years), 3 old restored Cushman scooters, a Kymco 150 cc scooter I keep at the warehouse for riding downtown and a neat little kit bike-a hardtail called a Hardknock Kikker.

I know...I know...too many toys!
