Looking at the morning paper I see regular gas at 4.059 for cash and 4.109 for charge.
Plus is 4.18 and supreme is 4.28. Add another 5 cents for charging as those are cash prices.
Diesel # 2 is 4.559 or 4.609 for cash and charge.
They say it will go up more this coming week.
Now they are talking 5.00 a gallon instead of 4.00 they been talking for the last few months.
This station is in half Moon bay just over the hill from us on the beach.

Don’t knock it; the rest of the world (Excluding Arabic nations) would bite your arm off to have fuel that cheap.

We are paying for the fuel.
We pay for the tax separately for the fuel and lots of tax.

Even if you strip all the tax away, the fuel in the US is still way below the rest of the world, (Except the Arabic countries) so enjoy what the rest of the world (Except the Arabic countries) can only dream of..

In many locations, including a lot of Europe, everything is much closer than in the U.S. It is not unusual for us to drive 50 - 100 miles a day to work and back. In fact I do. I think nothing of driving 450 miles each way to go see my grandson on a 3-day weekend.
This doesn't have anything do to with pricing, but it does with the amount we must spend on gasoline to go out and earn a living and do what we are accustomed to doing.

The most ridiculous conversation I heard was a couple people whining about fuel prices.....waiting in line at Starbucks to pay $4 for 8oz of coffee.

Fuel is cheap relative to the rest of the world.
It will never be $3.00 a gallon again. We will have to ride bikes, drive even smaller cars, motorbikes and operate like pretty much every other country in the world. Sell those Hummers and Suburbans and order a Smart Car (which are back ordered until late 2009,)
