My son, who works for me, asked me to listen to a recording today to try to guess who it was. What I heard was a big band and a familiar male voice I was having trouble putting a finger on.

Turns out it was James Brown singing mostly standards with the Louie Belson orchestra.

It was recorded in the early 60's and was re-released recently. What a hoot! Check it out. Logan says he got his copy at Disk Jockey.

What an unlikely combination! Don't know why it was ever recorded, why it was re-released
or who would buy it (maby a music nut, like my kid..or ME!).
