There have been local postings of info about the 30th anniversary of the tragic Beverly Hills Supper Club fire (the club was near Cincinnati). I played this venue often; the last time was the week before the fire that claimed over 150 lives. One of my customers in Lexington was horribly disfigured in the fire and lost his girlfriend.
I never gsve it a thought before the fire. There have been others. Please, always watch out for danger/safety at the venues you play. If you're like me, you have played some pretty nasty places in your time.
