SENATE MEMBERS
A member of the Senate, known for his hot temper and acid tongue,
explodes one day in mid-session and shouts, "Half of this Senate is
made up of cowards and corrupt politicians!"

All of the Senators plead to the angry member that he withdraw his
statement, or be removed from the remainder of the session. After a
long pause, the angry member accepted.
"Ok," he said, "I withdraw what I said.
Half of this Senate is NOT made up of cowards and corrupt politicians!"

This happened several years ago at my regular job. A regular was being particularly obnoxious to a young attractive female server. The guy is a well-known Kentucky basketball former player. She turned to him and said "Did you know that there was a recent survey that said that 1/2 of the males over 15 years of age sing in the shower and the other 1/2 plays with themselves. Do you know what songs are sung?"

The guy said he didn't know what songs were sung. The girl looked up sweetly and said "I didn't think YOU would know!".

We all fell out laughing. Greatest putdown I ever heard, and the jerk deserved it!
